Wonder if the Panthers would try to trade down twice, maybe trade to 3 and get an asset or two in that deal and then keep those assets and move the 3 pick down to like 7-9

Also wonder if they'd be looking at making a swap for Evander Kane - maybe their 1st overall pick for Evander Kane - I dunno, I kind of think Evander Kane might be worth giving up the 1st overall pick and not getting a pick in return, he's that good - but I still think the Panthers want to be able to have a pick in the top 10

For a guy making the money that Fasth is, there might not be a huge market for him - maybe if Winnipeg has the balls to buy out Pavelec, they could trade for Fasth

Willie Desjardins is en route to PIT. The rumors around the coach search are a bit confusing honestly. Multiple sources had GMJR basically saying he had made his choice, but now a new name in the running? Unless Desjardins is the guy, which I'd be 1000000% okay with. Seems like it's between him and Ulf. Lots of "big" names floating around trying to get assistant roles. Apparently Tocchet interviewed for an assistant role, and Brind'Amour possibly being brought in to replace Guerin as player development coach. I hope the Pens can hang on to Jacques Martin at the very least, any of the other assistants I'm okay with losing.
