they were trying to get him a powerplay goal to break a team record, so just left him out there

A couple of minors in succession, but the first one happened at the end of his shift.
He had a 2-ish minute shift at the end of the game as well, because they were afraid of not having another whistle so no chance to get him out for the final play. That ended up costing him a minus.

Nice stretch, but still only 5th all time. The Blues had the last stretch of playoff appearances that beat this one. It ended in '05 after 25 straight seasons.
