Interesting. Not Quick, Lundqvist, Crawford, Fleury, or Niemi.

Talbot would be #1 GP: 18 | W: 11 | L: 5 | OT: 0
GA: 30 | SV%: .938 | GAA: 1.75 | SO: 2

Another idea I had, when a power play is interupted by a intermission, have the face off in the offensive zone of the team on the power play.

I'd like to see a PP extend the end of the period/game, unfettered.

I've always thought that if a team gets a PP with less than 2 minutes left in the 1st or 2nd, they should be given the option to defer the start of the PP until the following period so that they aren't interrupted by the intermission.

Should we make penalties more punitive by not allowing the shorthanded team to ice the puck?

I'd be good with the league at least trying that out for a bit (maybe in the preseason, or right at the start of the season), just to see what kind of difference it made.
I could see a difference without even seeing it. Too many stoppages, breaking up the flow of the game. Negatory for me.

Penalties in the dying minutes of a game have bothered me at times. A penalty might have stopped a goal from being scored and a team might be awarded a really shortened power play.

Here is a great idea that would work well to help decide more games before the shootout. If you are a clear thinking individual you will agree. Two pucks in play in OT. Or the DP OT for short. 5 on 5 but with two pucks. Sure you could be really aggressive and try to score but that might leave your goalie exposed for a breakaway with the other puck! Both teams may score at virtually the same time at times! Think about it, occasionally they may have to review the plays to see which puck crosses the goal line first! Wow!

I am going to print up some shirts for the ice girls that say "I Love DPs!" to gain momentum for this wonderful idea.

Also, Price has played really well since my avatar change. Orioles Paul Rudd is returning really soon.

How about a puck for every player with their name on it, but the goal only counts if you score with your own puck. Drop 10 pucks in the faceoff circle and then sort it out from there. First legit goal wins!

I like where this is headed. Can the names all be written in Klingon or Elvish or something too?
