I'm waiting for Sly's reaction to Tim Thomas...

On the HFBoards page?

I'll have to view when I get home. I feel like I miss out on 75% of the quality posts on this site due to work blocking most gifs and images. Assholes.

Yeah, I turned it on it was 1-1. I went downstairs to spread out the hockey gear and when I got back up stairs it was 4-1.

I missed one heck of a game there, it appears.

Derek Morris totally lost it on Ryan Whitney after Yak's game winner tonight - I expect Mr. Morris will be hearing from the Sheriff.

Edit: I guess Whitney chirped Morris after the game winner.

Very weird end to that game ... Switched over from the mucho exciting canucks game

Coyotes stayed on the ice forever ... Tippett wanted to talk to refs ... Thought the refs missed an oiler hand pass prior to gwg

Meh, his hand was on his stick as the puck hit it (he didn't intentionally use his hand to direct the puck). While the letter of the law could be applied, I see it as his hand being an extension of the stick at that point (if his hand hadn't been there, the puck would have likely his the stick instead).

I don't see a problem with it, personally, but I can see where some might argue that it is.

Not sure why but that made me crack up. Now everyone in the cube farm is staring at me.

Anyhooo.

Jackets, with Cam Atkinson, Matt Calvert, Nikita Nikitin and Adrian Aucoin on the sidelines have called up Jonathon Audy-Marchessault and Tim Erixon. And they are dropping David Savard into action.

Very excited to see JAM (yeah, I'ma try and make that stick), kid's been tearing it up in the AHL. 45 points in 41 games for the elfin wonder.

Glad for Savard too. He's big and can skate. He has a shot that can stop a tank, an he hits. Plus he should be sufficiently pissed off after being a scratch every game so far.

Will be watching Erixon closely. The good news for him is there will be plenty of guys willing to fight for him when he runs away.

i dont think there is anything about this "interpretation" in the NHL rulebook ... its not baseball ... and its cut and dry
