Seems like the NHL is advertising the shit out of the NYR Stadium series games over the Winter Classic. The Heritage Classic barely even exists according to the NHL.

I'm a Ranger fan and I agree honestly. Don't get me wrong it's great for my city and state of NY, but it honestly takes away the excitement of the Winter Classic. I know it's all a cash grab with all these outdoor games, but I really hope they don't make a habit out of it.

I'm most surprised by Michael Grabner

Why? He suckss, guy has all the speed in the world, but he can't finish. Idk how the hell he scored 30 goals, guy is terrible and this coming from a guy who goes to at least 6 Islander games a year. I have watched him on many breakaways shoot high and wide or just miss conpletely. The guy has fucking stone hands, to be honest when he skates by a defender, as the opposing team I wouldn't even worry about him scoring, can't finish.

Yea, I think two would be enough to whet the appetite of the fans every season. Maybe one at noon, and the other at 3:30pm on New Years Day. This is ridicous, the Stadium Series is comprised of 4 games, the WC and the HC. They are definitely doing this because of the lockout last year... It's a bit overkill.

The guy's a plug but I guess if you can trade a 6th round pick for a guy who'll give you any minutes at all it's not a bad deal.
