Beauch didn't make contact with the head whereas (I think) Dubi's shoulder pad might have caught Koivu on the chin a little bit. And Dubi's hit was a little more late than Beauch's hit - otherwise, not much difference. I don't know if Dubi's hit warrants anything more than it got and maybe even the five minutes was a little harsh - I think it was 2 for interference.

I don't care if it's a good hard hit - if it makes contact with the head it in today's game cannot be clean. The game has evolved whether we like it or not.

As I said, I can see 2 for interference. I don't agree, but I can see it because Koivu did dish the puck and Dubi did somewhat change course.

Sucks that it's come to this, every hit is drama. Scott Stevens made a career out of hits like that one. Well, those two.
