I'd give Trouba first star tonight, he played a great game. Frolik had two goals though, so he'll probably get it.

What does it say about Trouba when Noel has him out there in the dying seconds protecting a one goal lead?

he played over half of the 3rd period, when his team was trailing, and then protecting a lead.
in his NHL debut. very freaking impressive.

Saw some the Jets & Oilers, I agree Trouba was very deserving of the 1st star. Was very impressed with his performance.

So a $550,000 contract then?

Unnecessary words are unnecessary.

Alex Urbom, talented young defenseman for the Devils who should be in the lineup and not on waivers is on waivers. Fingers crossed he doesn't get claimed.

Blood clots are a bitch. Henrik Tallinder missed pretty much the entire 11-12 season with blood clots. Playing hockey is basically the worst thing you could possibly do while on blood thinners.

No kidding - Patches into the board/glass divider, Gryba destroying Eller, and last night.

/Going a little further back, Trent McCleary taking that slapper in the throat.
