Well aside from the Leafs, things have been pretty good for Toronto professional sports teams with recent championships in the NBA, MLS and yes even the CFL lol. Blue Jays haven't won the World Series since '93, but at least they made some noise in the playoffs several years ago.
Yeah I don’t associate sports together because I was a baseball fan first, then hockey and finally football.
What is worst the time I was most into Pittsburgh sports was the 80’s and that was a miserable decade for all three.

Pittsburgh sports fans have it pretty good when it comes to championships though. Between 1960-1995 every championship they appeared in they won.

1960, 71,79 3 World Series

1974,75,78,79 4 Super Bowls

1991,1992 2 Stanley Cups

1995 Super Bowl loss

2005 Super Bowl win

2008 Super Bowl win

2008 Stanley Cup loss

2009 Stanley Cup win

2010 Super Bowl loss

2016 Stanley Cup win

2017 Stanley Cup win

To say we’ve been fortunate is an understatement. That’s basically why now I don’t give a shit if they win or lose.

I would like another World Series win for my son to see. He has seen 3 cups and 2 SB wins.

So true.

Dont hold your breath on the Pirates. They have no hope or outlook for hope due to the way baseball cba is setup and the ownership.

Absolutely no hope until Nutting is gone. It’s sickening. I haven’t been to a game since 2017 and refuse pay to go until he is out. Even if the tickets were free I think I’d pass.

Same here, last time I paid to see the Pirates was in Atlanta in 2018.

Jays seem to be on the right track too. Nice that it only took 4 or 5 years to rebuild this time instead of *checks notes* 21.

It's crazy that the Raptors were probably one of the most stable franchises in the NBA for nearly a decade and they probably won't be on the outside looking in for very long given the structure that franchise has. If the Leafs can get anywhere near that, even without a title, it'll still be enjoyable.

Speaking of this nonsense did you see Trevor Cahill is pitching for the pirates tonight. :L
Not only are they void of young talent they keep bringing in retreads with no talent to begin with.
Pre-game McKenry was yapping how good Cahill was in Single-A. Yep Single-A!
Well tonight not so much.

Pirates are nothing more than AAAA minor league team....just the way Nutting wants it.

Do you know what is worse than having to listen to Joe Block?

Listening to Joe Block and that moron Michael McKenry.

Orioles are pretty well on the same path. Angelos is a tightwad. I haven't actually shelled out for tickets in like 10 years. And that was just on a trip back to Md where the whole of my family was going. I've seen the Caps like 10 times in that span.

Granted, I haven't paid really any attention to the Orioles in like 3 years. So maybe it's gotten better.

Pittsburgh and Baltimore have the 2 worst owners in baseball and possibly in all 4 major sports leagues. I can’t think of one up there with them except maybe James Dolan (the knicks at least)

Seems like the Penguins forgot how to play defense.
