I had a news article come up on my phone that said "Lightning Raise Banner with Fans in Attendance."

I thought for a second... 'did the Lightning win the Cup last year? holy shit i don't even remember that.'

Well, it happened in the black hole known as Edmonton, so you have an excuse lol

Why would they hold the game in a place where neither of the teams are from and doesn't have a professional hockey team?

I honestly looked it up on Wikipedia because I thought you were fucking with me. :laugh3:

Yeah, you have to figure he could land more than that.
He also has all the leverage in the world - if Edmonton shits the bed to end this season they're screwed and if they let him go for nothing they're screwed. They pretty much have to sign him or trade him and figure out a way to get something of value back.

I have picked on RNH over the years, but he has been a very good soldier for Edmonton. I think he's looking at a big payday and shouldn't be giving Edmonton a hometown discount.

NYR is gonna try everything to get Eichel first.

I think RNH would be perfect in Florida. Could see Dallas or Boston trying hard for him too. Habs would probably take a whack at it. Colorado might try him if Landeskog ends up asking for too much. Those are all 100% better options than hoping the Oilers finally figure out how to put a winner on the ice and that's before the fact those teams can all offer more money comes into play.

If he stays for cheap he's nuts.

Funny since 17-18 (year after Eberle left) the only 20 goals scorers they have had outside of McJesus and Draisaitl are RHN 3 times and Chaisson once.

On the positive side, that's some of the most value-rich money they are spending this year. ;)

Camping out in front of the opponent's net and getting fed beauty passes from McDavid on the PP - I could probably get 5 goals letting Connor bank some in off my fat ass lol

those were crazy days man, why did he go after him? was it a blow out as it was often on them? was it his celebration?
Honestly don't remember. Probably was the frustration of letting in a goal that easy from Rob Brown.
