Stance: Goofy
Brian Burke was on Hockey Central at noon, and his take on Wilson was there is a sliding scale attached to discipline (obvious, but its the first time I recall anyone attached to the Player Safety office admit it). They view finals games each as ten games in the regular season. So, the league was looking at it as "is this something that would garner a ten game suspension in the regular season?" The answer is no, so... no further action.
He also said that exact same play on it's own in October is 2-3 games. Maybe more with history.
I don't think I know anything more now than I did yesterday, but at least it is confirmed.
Now, as to whether the league is correct in "tolerating" more because of the time of year is open for debate.
