Newly appointed fentanyl czar
Oh, and about the current playoff format...
This assumes that nobody will hire Babcock quickly and take most of the cost burden off the Leafs' hands.
Sharks getting their game in shape before the playoffs.

Andersen has definitely been bad down the stretch, that's for sure. But we will get a draft pick, right? Right??
I have been convinced for a month that the BOS-TOR series will be 4-0. And I have seen nothing in the past month to change my mind. Combine shaky goaltending (and I do not mean Sparks who better be exiled in the offseason) to incredibly bad defensive (lack of) coverage to the most inept line changes I have seen ever, and this one will be over quickly. Gives BOS time to prepare for the upset of TB.
Yeah. Any shortcomings the Leafs might have (and I mean they ARE a 100 point team) are not solely on Babcock. Dubas has made some questionable decisions as well. They've been fairly minor in the grand, 5-8 year plan, scheme of things but they were still questionable.
*5-9
So it'll probably surprise you that his .896 sv% since March 1 is better than Rask's .892 in the same time frame.
.
It does. I am expecting Halak to bail them out of several games during the playoffs.
Funnily enough, of the 4 goaltenders both teams are currently carrying Garret Sparks is the one with the best sv% during that span lolIt does. I am expecting Halak to bail them out of several games during the playoffs.
I wouldn't want to either, who knows where that thing has been?!?
Progress.
According to hockeyfights.com, a site that tracks on-ice bouts, there were 0.30 fights per game during the 2016-17 season, which declined to 0.22 fights per game last year and is down even more to 0.19 this season.
