Why does it seem there are so many crap teams this year? Other than the top 10 or so, there really isn't much of a middle anymore, just crap. They had 11 one-goal games prior to Dec. 8 (when their shit run seems to have started). They did lose 4 of 5 games between Oct 24 and Nov 2 and all those losses were by a goal.

It's a bit of luck but only having one line capable of doing anything on a consistent basis will eventually bite you. The rest of their forward corps behind Landeskog-MacK-Rantanen looks like something the Oilers throw out there.

(1) I think the fact that they are made from recycled ocean trash is pretty awesome.
(2) I like the look of guys wearing their teams emblem during all-star games. Looks better to me than when they all wear an "all-star" jersey and frankly, I'm WAY more likely to buy one to wear to games for my team.
