The one idea that dcmp alluded to today that i totally agree with is :

when Burrows alledgedly says something "OVER THE LINE", the national media/fans goes apeshit on Burrows and DEMANDS that he tell them what that dirty asshole said

when Thornton (it WAS Thornton) says something "OVER THE LINE, the national media/fans goes apeshit and tries to understand how/why the Sedins "lost it" and became lowlifes while Thornton doesnt have any questions asked of him lol

What I was able to find is that somebody on the Panthers bench (most are pointing the finger at Shawn Thornton) said something along the lines of "3-on-3 OT with the Sedins ends up like Rick Rypien"

/However, this is all speculation at this point.

What is Shawn Thornton even doing in the NHL at this point?
