Well, not exactly. They were horrid for long stretches. Holtby was rattled and somehow Jack Johnson showed up. Looked a bit like the Caps expected to not work.


And one of these days, Joey's gonna get a goal called off in the shootout. He slows down almost to a stop every time. Someone's gonna call him on that.

Happy to see Forsberg get a W in the big league. He got thrown to the wolves last year. I like the kid. Solid goalie. Hope he can take the reigns and let Bob fully rest up.

That was my second thought watching it...first thought was "cheeky".

I thought it should have been waived off at worst, was a dick move at best. Some guys can't just do the right thing and now a bunch of lawyers are going to have to come in, save the day, and fix it with new rules.

Caps didn't deserve to win though because how do you get beat by a stretch pass when the other team has the goalie pulled? That should never happen.

Couple losses in a row ain't a bad thing though to keep you humble. I'm just ready for the playoffs to start already.
