There's a sad amount of people saying that and meaning it... I chalk it up to a major slump being aided by a super conservative system making breaking out of said slump seem nearly impossible.

I'm against fighting in the game... but every rule has it's exception.

Brad Marchand represents all the bad in the game - cheap shots, slew foots, low hits, and diving/embellishing hits. I'd love to drop the gloves with that little troll.

Agree, and would add. I hope Chara does not get involved, due to some sort of "defending a teammate" crap. Let the little shyte gets his just rewards and move on.

Sid looks like himself again...nice to see.

This morning in the Toronto Sun the "3 Stars" had the two goalies 1 and 2. The 3rd star? No, not Sid, who sure looked to me like the best player on the ice all night. But it's a Toronto paper and it was a Leaf win, so they probably want to select a Leaf. Jake Gardiner then? Nope, not him. One of the guys who scored in the shootout (Holland and Parenteau)? Nope.

Tyler freaking Bozak. Was I watching the same game?

Oh great so the ice today in Boston was described as "soft and dangerous". NHL can we please get more of these games? Sure they are slow and sloppy and viewed from far away at bad angles - but the atmosphere!
