Really though, what is it with coaches and young players never, ever getting the benefit of the doubt, but old slow ass veterans can do anything because...vets? It's annoying as hell, and yes Rob Scuderi I'm talking about you.

Tortilla spent all that time saying he was going to teach the young guys "how to be professionals". All he's teaching them is that you can only fuck up once unless you are on your third contract. Then you have free reign to do whatever. PROFESSIONALS

Baby Ryan climbed down and down and walked to find it's coach because he could not block shots. Ryan walked up to Ken Hitchcock and asked "Are you my coach?" Hitchcock stared blankly, saying nothing and breathing heavily. Ryan awkwardly walked on. He saw Claude Noel in the distance and walked quickly up to him, but as he arrived Noel disappeared...as if he never really was there before. Slightly confused, baby Ryan continued walking looking for his coach. Then Ryan saw Scott Arniel. "Are you my coach?" "No, I am Scott Arniel." "Oo...kay?" Ryan continued on, feeling hopeless. Then he saw Todd Richards. "Todd, Todd, are you my coach?" baby Ryan asked excitedly. Todd dropped his head and said "No...I once was, but no longer," and handed Ryan some extra strong shot blockers for his skates. Ryan gave up and returned to his nest. When he got there he was met by John Tortorella. "FORTY PUSH UPS. NOW!" Torts yelled. "Wait...are you my coach?" Ryan questioned. Tortorella smirked and nodded. "Fuck," baby Ryan muttered to himself.

Its all about trust when it comes to coaches. And with torts, he must have watched alot of xfiles cause he trusts no-one

Actually i shouldnt say that ... He just tends to place trust in the oddest (shitty?) players (ie during his time in vancouver giving copious minutes to tom sestito while getting wiese traded and trying to convince ownership to buyout burrows)

Here it's Dubinsky, Tyutin, Johnson and Karlsson. Nothing wrong with liking certain guys' play, but when you put them in the wrong place (Dubinsky is NOT a 1C) you're ultimately hurting them.
