Ongoing NHL thread - Part deux

Future NHL cities, ranked for viability:

1. Quebec City
2. Milwaukee
3. Seattle
4. Golden Horseshoe
5. Kansas City
6. Portland
7. Houston
8. Hartford
9. Las Vegas

My only issue with Quebec City, 2nd Toronto and Hartford is that they're in the Eastern time zone and Bettman already said that the unbalanced conferences were based on Time Zone. We need even odds to make the playoffs between conferences. Before a game is played, the Western teams have a 14% better chance of getting in. That has to be fixed.

Now if they moved, say Florida to Milwaukee and then expanded to Quebec/GTA and Seattle/KC then fine.

Agree. The current AHL team struggles to draw consistently. City is less than half it's top population although the surrounding area is about the same as it's been.

I had mine burst and it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, much more so than watching the fist few years of Minnesota Wild games. I ended up having emergency surgery and spending six nights in the hospital. The first thing I did when I got sprung is went and turned on the tv and watched David Duval win the Open Championship.

Of course when I got to the hospital, the cat scan was out of service, so I had to get a ultrasound. Not many guys can say they've ever had one of those, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Not to burst your bubble...but ultrasound is pretty common for diagnostic reasons.
