Nashville is a strange duck for me - They seem to be in no-man's land (not good enough to contend, not bad enough for a lottery pick). They're doing a very good impression of the Calgary Flames circa 2009-2013.

Exactly Harry - Kipper was great, but he sure hid a lot of warts on the Flames with his fantastic play.

Every player they add lowers the chance that they offer sheet Johansen. And they are the ones I was worried would actually do it.

I would have taken him back as a depth guy. If nothing else the dude was the best Leaf defenseman on the PK last season. Hell he was better than Gleason for a quarter of the price, yet for some reason he had to sit in the press box and watch him.
