Well, the Flyers are still cashing in/counting on that Pronger LTIR contract.

No kidding, I'd give up a decade's worth of 1st round picks for 3 Cups in 6.

They'll find someone to take Bickell though. As you say, his contribution isn't spectacular, but he's not a negative kind of guy like some out there. And his $4M, while too high, isn't one of the Davids (Bolland or Clarkson) outrageous.

I mean, if someone will give Bolland $5.whatever mil/yr, I guess someone might trade for Bickell.

I just love having a chance to post the Duck Hunt dog, I love that guy.

Someone would probably take Bickell, it only takes one team. The problem is that they're probably not going to take him without sending some (presumably lesser) useless salary back, which cuts into the cap relief that Chicago would be looking for from such a deal.

Well, I happen to know somebody who used to play for the Jets who then ended up playing for the LA Kings. All I can say is that he enjoyed his time on Redondo Beach much more than Winnipeg Beach (lol)

Ryan Clowe is on LTIR, hopefully retiring. He's got a cap hit of $4.85 million per for the next 3 years. Getting him off the books would pretty much cover Adam Larsson and Eric Gelinas' re-signings.

The problem is there is too much open ice. Four added players will really open up the passing game.

I feel 3 on 3 is as goofy as the shootout but I do think it will be more fun to watch. Hopefully it ends more games before the shootout.
