Mike Fisher is one lucky man that he doesn't have to face the Panthers again this season - Erik Gudbranson would have left him tattered and feathered

Carrie Underwood needs to get control of her purse carrier.

Mr. Underwood certainly lived up to his name on that play...

I assume Nabby will be announcing his retirement on Wednesday. The Sharks don't need an NHL goalie and I doubt he going to make an announcement about going to the AHL.

Sounds like Nabby is going to retire as a Shark. That's cool.

Especially since the return was just future considerations. That's got to be a retirement announcement forthcoming.

Ok, time for all these teams below the Devils to start winning their games in hand.

So Scott Hartnell played his 1000th NHL game last night. His entire family was there as well as many friends and a few current and former NHL players. Kimmo Timonen made the trek to be there for example.

But so was Wade Redden. They interviewed Redden and never really explained the connection with him and Hartsy. Hartnell is from Regina, Redden is from Lloydminster. Redden is 10 years older and they never played on the same team. Just wondering how they know each other. It's weird that the Jody Shelley never mentioned it, only that they are "good friends". Can't figure out how.

Hartnell grew up in Lloydminster. His parents still live there.

Also, just a 5 year age gap (which is still considerable). I dunno, maybe they both race yachts or swap wives.

Ah. Didn't catch that, thanks.

Just seemed weird to me. Hartnell, a guy that just about everyone likes and Redden, a guy no ones seems to like being friends. And it seemed weirder when I thought there was no possible connection.

So, apparently Hall is out for a long time. And possibly Scrivens too (separate tweet).

MacTavish is smarter than I thought. Your move Buffalo.
