LA came up on my first try lol.

Ran it 25 times and the Leafs never went higher than 6th. Fuck this is exactly what's going to happen isn't it.

I'm thinking their algorithm must be off. I clicked it 100 times and it only gave Buffalo 13% of the time. Obviously with odds at 20%, it doesn't have to hit exactly 20 times to be right, but that's a 35% difference. Definitely would raise red flags in a statistical model.

After 200 clicks they're up to 17%.

Interesting results, ran it 10 times, Buffalo 5 (not surprising), Minny 2 (pretty surprising), Devils 2 (also kind of surprising), LA 1. No Edmonton or Carolina.

Meant to come here to mention the stuff about Hank. Out tonight and apparently they're further investigating an "upper body injury", reports that it's related to the neck shot he took. My speculation is it could involve the hyoid bone in your neck, which is important for speech and muscle attachment in the neck. That'd be pretty unique, but watching the video it's definitely possible. It's sort of under your jaw at the beginning of the neck, and that's just about where it hit him. No idea what that would mean to participation though, because it'd be likely to get injured again simply because it's hockey, but...can't say I've ever heard of a case in sports.

...really? I don't think there should've even been penalties there unless it's just two unsportsmanlike because the refs are annoyed. You know, it's not hard to fall on ice when you're shoved from behind.

Mitch Marner or Lawson Crouse seem to be the two most bandied after Hanifin and Strome. Zacha could go higher given how in need of centre help most of the bottom feeders are.

Doesn't matter a tick anyway since CBJ's first rounder is coming to Toronto as part of a package for Bozak Lupul and Clarkson.

I don't think so. The posted odds of 20%, 13.5%, etc. are the actual odds as released by the NHL:

And all he's doing is slotting them into their current position in the standings and assigning the respective odds.
