I like to see the Devils win but they may be shooting themselves in the foot here, unless they go on some historic tear and make the playoffs (not with this offense). They're 6-2-2 in their last 10 and Schneider has been playing out of his mind.

Also, that 4th overall pick a few years back, Adam The Swedish Hammer Larsson, has been playing outstanding hockey, probably our best blue liner. Pete Deboer hated this guy for some reason, he was healthy scratched most nights, to the point where Stevens likely left the team because he wanted to play him. Deboer is gone, Stevens is back and Larsson is a beast, coincidence?

I don't believe in tanking. Go out there to win or don't show up at all

Santorelli would probably have re-signed with the Canucks prior to the start of this season, but he got more money from the Leafs.

I'm sure they could have, I think they tried to get him on the cheap and the Leafs stepped up and offered him enough money to get him to sign on the dotted line.

I'm actually pretty excited to see what ESPN does with hockey. As much as I hate SportsCenter and what sports journalism has become because of them...it's exposure during a slower period of sports. Stretch run of MLB right before the playoffs, but could certainly still get a ton of exposure.

My feeling is it will quickly be pushed over and buried on the Ocho for CFB and NFL pre-season analysis.

Wondering myself if any of the big games end up on ABC. Honestly, I don't care which channel it is...as long as they can pry Gary Thorne away from the Orioles games.
