Also, if Dubnyk can get a 3rd round pick, I gotta believe Ramo is worth a 2nd round pick or prospect since Ramo > Dubnyk.

Hopefully Benning didnt take a page out of the Mike Gillis handbook and ask Minni for a 1st rounder for Lack

/There really isnt much separating Lack/Dubnyk/Ramo/Scrivens/Kuemper ... all relatively average ... yes Dubnyk went in the toilet for a bit there but as Barry trotz said last year, that was probably because of the Coilers lack of goalie coaching ... Kuemper shitting the bed right now so help/change (might just be temporary until he can find his game) was desperately needed ... but all in all ... its probably just shifting deck chairs on the titanic :noidea:

sometimes you wonder why teams just don't try and improve a situation for the incumbent ... its probably just easier to try and plug a new guy in and roll the dice and hope ... I guess ... this thinking probably plays a role in depressing goalie trade market values

if you take the save% stats since the 2012-13 season
Ramo 56 games ... .909
Lack 55 games ... .912
Dubnyk 91 games ... .909
Scrivens 94 games ... .912
Kuemper 60 games ... .909

The Coyotes are still charging $60 for their cheapest tickets? What the balls? No one's buying them when the team's good.

Maybe I'll just call them and be like, "Hey, that game when the Yotes host the Pens, I'll give you $25 a chair for the upper seats in the stadium. What say you?"

It's not like anyone else is buying those seats....

Nothing on the secondary market? No desperate fans trying to dump their tickets?

Vermette is likely going to be traded and one of Yandle or OEL will also likely be moved as the Coyotes trim salary and enter re-building mode. Those $60 ducats will be collecting dust.

I'll be checking into that later. I was just trying to gauge interest among my friends in going and need a number to show them. I was expecting it to be lower.

The last time I went, I did pay $25. I walked up to the gate, they weren't even close to selling out, and I told them what I was willing to pay, and they sold me the ticket because they weren't going to get any money out of that seat otherwise.

Man, what a concept. In Pittsburgh those "day of game" prices are about $20 more in my experience.

Well, I figure you have just over 3 years left to watch the Coyotes in Glendale before they load up the trucks and head to Seattle.

For my road trip last year the ticket booth prices were also pretty nuts. The prior game had been discounted, and was dollar beer night (fuck dallas) but nothing for the Canucks game. I ended up hitting craigslist for tix.

Probably because there were so many Canucks fans buying up the tickets, they could afford to do it. I should be worried about that with the Pens. I know it happens with the Red Wings, too.

I went to see them play the Sharks a couple years ago, and apparently no one was interested. That was actually the year the Yotes went to the Conference Finals, too.

Speaking of the Coyotes:

/Maybe the Canucks can counter with the Flying 'V'?

Why would they punish the ones who show up with that?

Some people forget that it wasn't always that way. At one time the Penguins were a much worse franchise than the Coyotes.

Yeah, well, Howard Baldwin was a prick. No need to rehash those times...team going bankrupt and selling off it's best pieces for junk.

I would give my left nut for OEL.

Caught by the net cam last night. Price liked the shot, Hartsy appreciates the save.

That's too bad about Rinne. Guy just cannot stay healthy. Hell of a goalie, but Ironman he is not.
