He's got a .430 winning percentage. That's lower than basically every coach you can think of that's been around for at least a decade (I checked for Babcock, Trotz, Ruff, Sutter, Laviolette, Therrien, Vigneault and Quenneville). He's just been around longer than most of them.

What's amusing, to me at least, is that Maurice had a better winning percentage in Toronto than he did in Carolina/Hartford.
