And be careful. Not the safest of towns, esp the downtown area. Its sad, actually.

Barbecue is great, live music rivals Nashville (although the locals get offended if you say it, they say Austin is the Live Music capital of the world). Cannot vouch for the springs though lol.

Stayed at The Driskill back in January. I believe their claim about it being the most haunted hotel in the US. We had some weird stuff happen in our room. Unfortunately the area around there is a little sketchy after dark.
Our conference was right by the convention center, so it was relatively clean. Couple blocks up was 6th street where all the bars and food was. And yeah, pretty sketchy at night. Extremely aggressive homeless population there. Business district and around the statehouse was much nicer. 6th street was fucking crazy, not helped by the fact that it was biker week for part of the time we were there.

Also, the worst traffic I have ever experienced, and I have been to Chicago often. Rush hour started in the 70's and is showing no signs of letting up

Barkley giving a shoutout to NHL playoff hockey likely didn't hurt either :thumb:
People are tuning in to hear Biz'z hard hitting analysis like

"GAAAAH NOOOOO LEAFS"

and

"IT'S OOOOOOOOOON!"

Sad day

No, even I wont vote him into the HoF, but Mark was a warrior and is an even better person. Hope he stays around Smashville (Trotz hinted it at it recently)

I did not know he was still playing. Great career.

Got (another) concussion this past October and never came back.

The Preds Foundation auctions stuff off each game, jerseys, sticks, etc. Outside of Josi and Saros, Boro's stuff always went for insanely high prices. He was so popular here, and obviously not for his point production. Fans loved him in Smashville.

Petr Klima sat on the bench for over 2 hours in that 1990 playoff game between the Oilers and Bruins at the old Boston Garden. Muckler decided to throw him out there for a shift in the 3rd OT period I think it was and he pots the GWG.

/Mooger should have had it,

That is tough and the recovery is not easy. And just about guarantees he will have knee replacement surgery when he is older.

What is the recovery after cartilage repair?

Very generally speaking, patients will spend 1-3 days in the hospital, then use crutches for 8 weeks. They can return to stationary biking at 4-6 weeks, swimming and elliptical trainer at 8-12 weeks, and light jogging at 1 year. Unrestricted activities such as basketball, squash or longer-distance running is permitted after 18 months.

Yikes.

I can't imagine that being something that you ever come back from at NHL level play.
