The poll is up - which current NHL goalie do you take if it is a one game, do or die?
Crawford > Rask
Yeah okay:rollseyes:
Of the goalies mentioned, I would go with Jonathan Quick.
Agreed
Since Quick has done it before I'm going him.
I will say one thing, Carey Price is probably the very last goalie I would take on this list.
Lol same here.
He was highly regarded not too long ago
Fleury used to be talked about quite a bit, what happened?
He's having a solid season, isn't he?
Yeah, really proud of the way MAF has bounced back this season. He's adopted a more stand up style. Doesn't flop around as much so he doesn't let in as many softies.
Bounce back season or not, I'd take him over Crawford.
Crawford is so inconsistent it's ridiculous. One night he'll stand on his head, the next he'll give up 3 on 19 shots.
I think Crow would be exposed on a lot of other teams, without the Olympic defense in front of him, and the great defensive forwards we have.
I don't know if you noticed, but I was big on Anti Raanta on the Blackhawks board earlier this season. He reminds me a lot of Anti Niemi, and not just because of his first name. I think Q should go to him more often after the break. He has the credibility to bench Crawford if need be. I think he should do it. He's blowing too many games as of late.
Seems like Raanta has a lot of upside, and I'm thinking will be our future soon.
He's more athletic than Crawford, and doesn't seem to get down on himself.
In Q's defense, it's hard benching a Stanley Cup winner, and Crawford played great in those playoffs.
But I agree, I like Raanta.
Lol same here.

I think they had to hype him up to justify getting rid of Halak. He's a good goalie but not as good as they say IMO.
