They are pretty even games IMO. Vegas favors the SEC because people will bet that way most often.

I don't think espn had anything to do with bowl contracts done years ago.

I think it has more to do with the buffer zone between the SEC and the PAC. The Big XII, ACC, and Big 10 are just closer to home.

To get to the PAC they'd have to cross the Big XII, WAC, and MWC. Time Zone's take away from the PAC.

Should be pretty clear by now, I've always had a hard on for the PAC/Big 10 lock in the Rose Bowl.

It stems from the Bowl Alliance and Bowl Coalition and those two conferences refusing to join to protect the Rose Bowl. CFB fans were robbed from undefeated's Nebraska/Penn St in 1994 and Nebraska/Michigan in 1997.

Penn St took the biggest fucking.

Play against themselves, against CHokelahoma, against Chokehio State, against Texas w/o McCoy and still nearly lose... get 2-loss teams put in NCG, get 1-loss teams placed ahead of all others, play each other in rematches in NCG...

as long as we are making excuses, Ohio State lost it's star player in the first and had 5 personal fouls called against them in the second...
