I've only seen 12 regular season games. (unless someone plays Hawaii)

So have SEC's.

Last year it was the MWC that took forever(I watch these things for preseason rankings).

Is Utah not bringing their full team? Michigan has been horrible since Lloyd Carr left even including the lucky 2011 season where they were gifted a BCS bowl game as the lowest ranked team ever to go to a BCS bowl game and then given the weakest team this side of UConn to play in one.

They picked Michigan over both Minnesota and Nebraska who both had better records.

I figure with all the Pelino turmoill, they didn't expect Nebraska to travel well. Probably a good call on their part.

Though Nebraska fans may have been interested in facing a team they're more likely to beat in Kansas State. I think that could've been an interesting matchup, and I'd of liked to see Michigan face Georgia.

Fan base is split. K. State would have been a yawner, Nebraska's played them so many times. There are a lot of Husker fans in Arizona though.

Georgia is an interestng match-up.

Pelino is (12 for 32) vs AQ opponents with 8 or more wins.
He's (7 for 10) against straight 8 win opponents.
He's (5 for 22) against 9 or more win opponents.
He hasn't beaten an 8 win or better opponent this season.

Georgia is currently an 8 win team. So he either pads his all time record vs 8 win teams, or falls further behind against 9 win or better teams.

I haven't decided who to take in pick'ems yet.

Meh, ehCC went a dominant 1-1 v ACC last bowl season, with their lone win coming against nc state. Just because the big and big 12 had losing records v the ehCC doesnt mean they are great. Shit, not even the aac had a losing record in their bowl match ups with the mighty eh CC.

The SEC has won the last 7 BCS NC's. Those winners are Alabama (3), Florida (2), Auburn (1), LSU (1).

The critics spend a vast amount of time pointing out that the SEC teams play OOC cupcakes, etc. That so many of their teams are ranked due to "bias".

Here is yet another opportunity for the other conferences to put up or STFU. Can they at least go 50%?

I don't know if were just talking championships in bcs or overall...but I thought sec teams took quite a few blows last year...florida losing to Louisville. Clemson beating LSU. northwestern beating miss st. and Nebraska and Michigan gave south Carolina and Georgia all they could handle. really ohio st bailed out the sec or they wouldn't even have a team in title game this year
