OL Chris Williams signs with Bills

It's look as though we are going to have no choice but to draft an OL with our number one pick in this years draft and have to pass on adding a play maker to an offense that so desperately needs one. Not liking the way things are going this offseason so far.

Everyone talks about wanting to add a top pick "difference maker." What exactly are we calling what the Rams tried to do with the #8 pick last year?

After three seasons, Williams just never lived up to his draft position and we found out what the Bears knew. We will be adding many new faces on the O-line and Safety and maybe a WR or two. I think this may be a pretty good draft if the FO doesn't do too much trading down.

Well considering Williams signed a FOUR YEAR DEAL worth $13.5M and $5M in guarantees, I say good for him and good riddance to a Rams O lineman who was reported to struggle as a run blocker and as a pass protector.

What else is there to being an O lineman?

He also graded out poorly as the No. 74 player at his position out of 81 entrants in 2013.

By the way, for all you knocking Fisher for not drafting an OL in the first round.

Take note, Chris Williams was a 1st rounder selected by the Bears with the No. 14 pick overall in 2008!

There is only one Oline guy I'd take in the first Vita. That being Matthews for a lot of reasons and I wouldn't take him at 2 but trade down to 6. Everyone else including Robinson, you have a point.

Chris Williams was the Rams worst offensive linemen. See ya later dude. I have no problem with the Rams releasing him. Only problem is now we have zero swing players. So hopefully they see something we're not. But I have no problem with the Rams not over paying for these players.
