I left no time for opinion… hoping to get around the turn tonight so I picked.

Lamb

Eight picks until my 3rd rounder; in no particular order:
Hurts and Allen
Mixon and Etienne
Adams, Brown, Smith, ARSB

If all of them go (unlikely):
Lawrence
Stevenson, Najee
Waddle
Andrews

Kamara if you can withstand the 3 weeks.

I'm a big Ridley guy.

Andrews over Hock.

J Cook > Swift > Hall > D Cook > Kamara
Metcalf > Waddle > Diontae > Ridley
Andrews > Hockenson

I might be a little too high on James Cook (have him as a mid-RB2, around RB16-18 range), but I think both Swift and Hall offer more upside than Dalvin and Alvin these days. Swift over Hall just cause Hall is coming off injury and they brought in Dalvin to play with Rodgers.

I need to see it from Ridley, not just buying that he'll be better than guys that have been getting heavily targeted and/or producing the last 2 seasons.

Not sure many would put Hock over Andrews, don't think you can go wrong with either, but give me the only guy to knock Kelce out of the TE1 spot for a season over the last decade

RB
Kamara

Swift
Dalvin Cook
-Hall would be first if i knew how dalvin cook would cut into his play

WR
- Metcalf
- Waddle
-Ridley
- Diontae

The top 3 are very close, so close i would change my mind everytime you ask me to rank... Diontae is not in this tier, not even close

TE

Andrews well over Hockensen

A year ago Diontae was coming off a top 10 finish.

He had zero touchdowns last season. Just like Miles Sanders the year before. Sanders went from 0 to 11.

maybe I am just high on Pickens... Pickett to Pickens just sounds very romantic... And I see the steelers to be a defensive first/run first team... sure, I think Pickett is going to improve, and be pretty good... but I definitely don't see Johnson being a top 10 WR... not even top 20...

I would be less surprised by the Steelers winning the division than I would be Deontae being a top 10 WR

6 touchdowns last year would have put him in the top 20. I like Pickens too. Pickett should develop and raise everyone. But Johnson will have +25 catches over Pickens.

sure... but I see him to have less TDs than Pickens and Friermuth... and if he doesn't get 100 receptions I don't think he will get to top 10...

and back to the original point... Metcalf, Waddle and Ridley I think can all easily be top 10...

I can see him getting back to 1000-6

Well worth a 5th…will try to stretch it to the 6th

I went with James Cook
… over Hall and Dalvin, Metcalf, DJ Moore (who I didn’t include earlier)…

Very conflicted by the Jets backfield… both seem too good to let one be fantasy great.

RB depth will always be a priority over anything. I would say DK and Cook were 1 and 2 on that list. I don’t have DJ Moore in any of my leagues. Still not sure what his value is at this point

So I left out Miles Sanders in my previous post. I own him in three leagues, and just didn’t want to grab him again…

Round five came along and my queue took a beating (finally)… Sanders was sitting there. I had no choice. Go Panthers!

Chubb
Lamb
Adams
J Cook
Sanders

Can’t start a third RB, but I feel like my trio will all be work horses (Cook may be more hoping than feeling).

Eyeing round six. The worthy TE group is gone.
Will be looking at Keenan, Diontae, DHop, or QB (Lawrence still there).

What about Lawrence?

Still there… just hard to get excited. I’ve never seen this league avoid QB so long.

Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, Fields, Herbert, Burrow and Cousins (yes, Cousins) are the only ones drafted so far…

I’ll be happy with five (seven actually) remaining.
There is that chance that TLaw will make a tier leap this year though, and I’m on record believing that… I just don’t know.

Wishing I went Metcalf over James Cook in the 4th now.
