OK, finally had a chance to watch.

- Boone Jenner makes a big difference to the lineup. Drouin looks great online 1 too.
- Wotherspoon earns his spot. No way Corrado would have bled :)
- Subban really settling in nicely.
- Harrington emerging as the most reliable d-man on the team
- Ty Rattie seems quite a useful player.

Ryan Murphy had his best game of the tournament, looks like the trainers finally got around to sharpening his skates as he was flying out there today. Agreed that Jenner was a beast today and JC Lipon will likely be tending the gate at the bench for the rest of the tourney.

Where do you think this team ranks from a talent standpoint at forward to Canadian teams from past WJC's?

I know you asked puck, but in my opinion, the 2005 team with Crosby, Bergeron, Carter, Phaneuf (he was really good back then) is still the cream of the crop. I would put this Canadian team a notch below that team.

yeah I have to agree with that with the 1995 team pretty damn close to being as good

http://www.tsn.ca/world_jrs/feature/?fid=1045

this team is good but not even close to either of those

The question is for everyone. I just used Pucks quote because he gave some analysis.

I think this group is very deep. Sheifele & Huberdeau can play Center & they've been playing Wing the entire tournament. Drouin is making a strong case for himself to go in the top 3 of the draft. He's been fun to watch. Jenner just played his first game in the tourney & he's like a bull in a china shop. Strome who leads the OHL in points has seen time on the Third line. (I understand why, he needs to stay out of the penalty box LOL). RNH has all the skills you could possibly want in a forward other than size, which he has no control over. He's the real deal.

The 2005 team (dont forget shea weber there dash) was just so so dominant giving up only 7 goals. This years team doesnt strike me as being that way although they were a machine this morning v russia

My impression is the 2005 team is the top cdn junior team ever

/ damn ... Just looked over that roster again ... Just damn

Joel Armia had a very good tourney for Finland (even though the Finns didn't make the medal round).

Ray Ferraro said the loss of Aaltonen in the first game really deflated the team. Really too bad they couldn't rally around each other & make a nice run. They certainly had the talent to do so.

Yes, the Sabres are set in net for awhile. Congrats!!

Now if only all this could lead to the Sabres winning the Cup.

I don't see Grigs having a great tourney so far, or is that just because all you hear about is Nail?

At least Marc-Andre Bergeron can score on the PP. I also didn't like the replacement of Charles Hudon with Mark McNeill who was invisible out there when you could have replaced him with Hunter Shinkaruk who is a clutch goal scorer who has scored for Team Canada in big games in the past.

Oh well.
