Jerry made some other comments about the whole offense being built for Romo . I just don't think it's possible to keep Romo. I think the lockeroom would be a mess.

I don't understand how you can love Romo so much and completely fail to see why somebody else would too.

Jerry adores Romo. Jerry said it himself "relationships come into play here" There is no business motives for the things he said. He loves the guy and can't fathom him playing for another team that he does not want to even thing about it.

Well I agree with that but IMO if he makes this a competition and it is fairly done - Dak has no chance. Again that's just my opinion. If that were to happen the lockeroom might not like it. You take a chance at messing with that valuable chemistry that I do believe is real.

Jerry being stupid - he basically compared Romo to Brady. If you have Tom Brady, Dak could have been 13-0 and if Brady was ready Week 14 - he is the starter.

On trying to drive his price up- a lot of teams would love to have Romo. I think JJs loyalty to Romo will show here. If he really loves him he will grant him his release and let him do what he wants.

My view- I think JJ does love him.

Romo is a fierce competitor and wants to be a starter. He would not be happy carrying a clipboard.

Honestly and this is for all Dallas fans for the last 30-40 yrs. How did you feel when JJ swept in and fired Landry and hired Jimmy Johnson. Maybe this isn't close to the same situation for you but it is to me.
