For me re-sign the Defensive FA's and re-evaluate the entire offense. VD and the O-Line are good(yeah they could use an OG but they got 2 on the practice squad). Need to re-vamp the WR by bringing in a one of the big WR FA's and picking one in the draft. Love Gore but need to get a replacement for him sooner rather then later(I know he just signed a new deal but he's always injured) so they should be looking for another RB in the draft. As for Alex, need to look at all their options and not just sign him to a new deal. Yes there could be improvement with full training camp and good receiving options but how much improvement? Don't think Alex will be anything but a top-15 QB at best. But if the Niners get Alex at a good deal then keep him.
