well, would no longer need to trade anything for Mathieu so he becomes more viable. I don't see Thomas being cut.

I wonder if the reason the Cowboys placed a 2nd round tender on Irving instead of a 1st was so they could flip that 2nd to Seattle for Thomas. Seattle asked for a 1st, which I'm sure even they knew wasn't gonna happen, but I bet both teams would be happy to settle on a 2.

A lot of Guards and Centers are getting paid, how much do these deals affect Martins contract?

Holy crap.

Haloti Ngata - DL - Eagles
Eagles signed DT Haloti Ngata, formerly of the Lions, to a one-year contract.

The rich get richer. Ngata only played five games last season and just turned 34, but he remained a quality option before going down and will only be asked to play a rotational role in the Eagles' stacked defensive front. With Ngata on board, it looks like Beau Allen will walk in free agency.

Reports are 1 year 3M
Hell I'd think even the penny pinching Cowboys could have swung that deal.

Line him up some incentives. Hate to add a guy that you know doesn't have his best years in front of him. But he gets open still and can help us.

Apparently only scrub FA. Fullbacks are easy to replace though. I am hoping the Cowboys use more two TE sets. Rico Gathers needs to be on the field this year. So far my feelings are not hurt by letting all these players walk.

I hate giving up high picks, especially since the Roy Williams trade, but for Earl Thomas, I think I'd reconsider.

LOL...it's pretty funny when that happens on here. You find a Cowboy related item and post it and next thing you know people are thinking you are the writer and saying 'remember when Sir Camelot wanted to trade Martin'!!!

OMG yes.

What a retard.

Jordy Nelson - WR - Raiders
Raiders signed WR Jordy Nelson, formerly of the Packers, to a two-year, $15 million contract.

As expected, the Raiders cut Michael Crabtree and his $7.5 million in salary and bonuses for 2018 and gave it to Nelson, who gets $13 million guaranteed. Nelson (33 in May) is two years older than Crabtree and looked washed with the Packers last season, though we're going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now, considering he was playing with Brett Hundley. (It didn't bother Davante Adams.) Nelson will be the starter opposite Amari Cooper, who coach Jon Gruden said will be the focal point of the offense. Consider Nelson a WR3 for now.
