I don't know about that. Maybe, probably, but not definitely.

Rabb is 6'11", but only 210. I think he'd make a great big 4 four us, and fight with Anderson over the PF spot.

I just don't understand all of this bullshit dancing around. Make a decision one way or another, and then make an announcement. "sources say", "PGU reports", it's all bullshit. IF the season is over and you have something to say, say it.

My guess is that they're planning a side-by-side joint announcement like last year... so they all have to keep mum until they're all ready.

Rabb is a one and done lotto pick. Zeus really hasn't progressed the way everyone though he was going to. He adds experience while Rabb adds talent.

THey both bring something great to the table. Rabb can do things that Zeus certainly can't, but Zeus knows things that Rabb won't have time to learn in college.

Question:

Are we sure that it's either or? Would Rabb really be our center next year at 210 lbs (or hell, 220)? Will he be ready defensively? I haven't seen a lot of him. I just think that he would be a better PF for us, no? It's not like he's going to bang that hard down low or back anyone up to the rim, will he?

Who knows, maybe Zeus staying fucks us out of Rabb. If so, I'm okay with Zeus/Ristic and Anderson/Comanche.

2) Trier/Allen
3) Smith/Elliot
4) Anderson/Camanche
5) Zeus/Ristic

And we still have one more slot for either Rabb or a big-man transfer?

Now I'm not an insider or anything like that so I could be talking out of my ass but does anybody else think that Zeus coming back could be a good thing for landing Rabb? I mean I agree with CTP. I see Rabb as a power forward and not a true center. And I remember reading something a while back about Rabb really wanting to play with Zimmerman so that he could play the power forward position and not have the pressure of HAVING to play center in college. Having a front court with Zeus, Rabb, and Comanche could be deadly!

Cal is really hoping to land Rabb, Jaylen Brown, and Swanigan. If they do they will definitely challenge the Cats in the Pac and would probably be favorites. Problem is if Rabb doesn't go there then the other two likely won't either. It's really all or nothing for Cal.
