to be clear, naruman, roddick is an analyst for fox sports, and not just for tennis. he does analysis for all of the big sports on a show that's the equivalent of SportsCenter on ESPN.

he also does a podcast 3 days a week as part of his gig.

it's a lucrative choice for him...much more than just doing tennis with espn or tennis channel. and his contract would prevent him from doing ad hoc contracts for individual tournaments on espn or tennis channel, most likely.

And at the end of the workday, not only is it Miller time, it's Decker time....

Not a lot of changes in the top 40. Biggest change is Pospisil jumping 27 spots to 29th in the world. Gasquet is up 7 spots to 13th. No changes in the top 10

Kyrgios dropped 12 spots to 41.

On the WTA side, Muguruza up 11 spots to #9 in the world. Bouchard down 14 spots to 26.

Never been and I would not consider going until this year. Reason I would not consider going before this is because it was held on Saturday which is the 2nd week of the CFB season which I refuse to miss. I would consider going now that it is going to be on Fridays

Agree. Grounds pass is the best ticket in sports. Paid 74 bucks for rounds pass for men's 3rd round and women's 4th round the day before labor day

No, not this year. Once in a while I will. You need to buy tickets like any other day. More expensive of course and they sell out quick.

I went for Hingis a couple years ago although I had to leave before the actual ceremony I did see her impromptu interview earlier in the day from about 10 feet away.



I tried to get tickets for Agassi before that year but they sold out.

My boy Jared Donaldson wins his first round match yesterday. Should see him play tomorrow. Tomic upset yesterday. Isner upset today by Ram. Harrison upset by a nobody. Sock wins easily.

Jared played horrible. Just never got going. His opponent JP Smith is also taylor made for grass.

Sock barely won and bitched and moaned through the whole match because his opponent Lukas Lascko played better than he usually does. He was very disrespectful (although not to Lascko's face) and it was embarrassing.

Steve Johnson also out, same for Ram. Lots of guys withdrew. Hewitt, Young, Mahut and some others. Not as strong an event as it was in years past.

I was mistaken about Ram. He won. He is still alive in doubles too. Query is out though.
