Wow.

So NOW reports say Kevin Love won't sign an extension with ANYBODY, including Cleveland. He appears to really want to test free agency.

That kills his trade value.

Now ANY offer should be on the table from any team.......price just dropped through the floor.

Nah lol. Remember this is the no hand checking Era for lebron. And jordan played in the hand checking era no 3 seconds or any of that. Played with way more defensive pressure on him

I don't care winning in Cleveland would be better than winning anywhere.

I'm sorry but he just isn't jordan lol

He's maybe not but the way you're talking is like Jordan is 10 of 10 and Lebron is 4 of 10.

I think it's much closer and as shaneman said it is stupid to compare eras in any sport because changes always will happen in the sport

It's not that close. Lebron is maybe a top 10 player all time and jordan is the best ever

If be gets 4 MVP's and 5 rings in Cleveland he would be above MJ. You kidding me.

It goes back to Jordan being undefeated in the Finals. Jordan also retired midway through his dominance as well. You can make an argument that Jordan could've ran off 8th straight had he not decided to play baseball.

To you it would be great because you're a Cavs fan. But to everyone else, I will always remember 2011 and 2014, the former which was an epic collapse by Lebron.

People need to realize this is a different era and stop living in the past

I agree. I'm not a big fan of Lebron's anymore by any means. I never thought he was better than Jordan, but I don't think there's that much of a disparity as far as talent and game goes as some on here are saying.

Lebron is already a top 10 player and he still has 5 good years at least.

Lebron will be a top 5 player at least when he retires

You can actually. Basketball was way more physical back then

And players now are faster, stronger, and more athletic.

I would love to see Jordan guard a 6'11 SF like Durant.

I get people love Jordan but some of the stuff people say are ridiculous.

Actually, this is great news for the Lakers if it's true. If the Cavs trade the house for Love and he leaves after next season, he will officially become my non-favorite Heat player. Just for the mere fact it would almost disintegrate the Cavs future title hopes and cause Lebron to possibly leave Cleveland again (Decision 3.0).

Wishful thinking....but something to think about.

I haven't looked at his contract details but if its like Lamarcus Aldridge, then he's smart to do it. He makes more money by opting out into FA and resigning with the team than he would if he signed an extension. LA has already come out and said that's what he's doing with his contract (and that he's resigning with Por) so Love may be doing the same.

And just like Heatles I don't care for Lebron but to see people shit on him when I know he is going to end up as one of the top 5 players ever to play this game (he's already top 10) is ridiculous.

You would think Lebron is Joe Johnson the way people talk about him when mentioning Jordan

Just for the record if Lebron attempted the amount of shots Jordan used to attempt per game he would avg about 35 points.

Jordan avg 28 shots once in a season and he only avg under 22 shots per game 3 times in his entire career.

Lebron has yet to ever avg 22 shots per game in a season and attempted fewer than 20 shots per game in 5 or 6 seasons

You don't Lebron could win scoring titles if he really wanted to? Seriously

If Lebron was shooting over 22 shots per game in just about every season of his career, he would have a lot of seasons in avg in the low to mid 30's.

The one time Lebron avg over 22 shots per game (23. 1) he avg 31.4 PPG on 48% shooting

Honestly if you're not a god awful shooter from the field, you should be able to avg 30+ PPG rather easily if you're shooting 22+ shots per night

That's cause he goes cold and doesn't want to risk overshooting. Jordan had way more games than lebron when he scored 30+ on 60% shooting than lebron. At one point jordan played point for a certain stretch and had 10 triple doubles in 11 games. I don't think lebron has ever done that
