of the 3 you mentioned only Miami makes sense and only if he takes a major pay cut and then only if the other 2 re-sign at lower salaries and they sign others

ROFL..that's a lot of "ifs" . Miami doesn't make any sense because the other 2 need to sign for significantly less. With LAL, they can resign Gasol and sign Lebron. A lebron, gasol, kobe trio is much better than a wade, bosh, lebron trio. Same with the clippers blake, cp3, lebron is much better than the heat trio.

How are you so high on Cleveland? What has Cleveland done recently?

Also, the Clippers are strapped cap-wise so the only way Gasol goes to there is if he goes for the MLE. He's worth more than that.

If the Clippers wanted a great chance to win a ring the next couple of years they could trade Jordan for Gasol or dump Jordan to a team with cap room and then sign gasol as a FA. A healthy gasol would put the clips on top.

I think Melo wants the max and Kobe considers him his closest friend in the league so he's going to LA or staying in the big apple

It would make a great story if he went back.

Don't believe everything you read. I'm pretty sure LBJ wouldn't make any decision until he met with the team face to face

Another middling FA taking a decent chunk of the pie. The longer the upper tier FA(s) wait in a holding pattern, the less of the amount of that pie will be left.

of the 2 i would say it's 99.9% NY and the rest to LA, but then i think Dallas has just as much to offer

Melo and Kirk pick and rolls would be awesome.

2 problems there, aside from the Kirk part.

1) Dirk is not a great roll guy
2) Melo would not pass it to him anyway. He is an isolation player, not the guy you want running pick and roll with the ball in his hands.

Translation = :hope:

I'm sure 'Melo flew all the way to L.A., met with the Lakers for 2 1/2 hours, made the Knicks fly to L.A. to meet with him and then met with Kobe after the Knicks, all for a team with a 0.1% chance of signing him.:lol:

Agree unless it's Blake Griffin.
Regardless of Doc Rivers opinion, if James wanted to be a Clipper and the only way to accomplish it was a Griffin sign and trade, they would do it.

Other that him, I'd rather just totally suck, get a draft pick and have plenty of cap space.

That is the problem though guys. If you lose LeBron, but keep Wade and Bosh you are a 5 seed. Might as well get some good players in return and be a 2 seed unless the Heat plan to rebuild entirely. I am not sure that it makes sense to sign Wade and Bosh if they can't get LeBron.
