He may be traded regardless if they get Gasol or not. Mirotic would be cheaper and opens more playing time for him.

I wonder just how serious the Bulls are about Melo. After Amnestying Boozer, they have around 47 million committed to 8 players. They would need to trade Gibson to get down to 39 million where they could offer him the max. And then fill out a roster still.

And Reinsdorf is a well-known cheap ass.

Gibson would be traded if the Bulls seriously wanted Gasol. Especially with Mirotic coming over.

No need for Gibson.

Ah, that's true and thus the flaw in my theory.

Yeah, that would be a bit difficult. Maybe they feel like it's pretty much between the Knicks and Lakers now that each has offered him a max deal?

I dont like what Lebron is doing either, but he is the best player on the planet. We must stick with him and hope he stays. If he leaves then all bets are off. Till then he is still a Heat.

The Lakers are a better choice for Lebron than the Heat.

Bulls are going to offer Melo 16 mill. They will trade MDJ. Bulls are still working on a sign and trade with the Knicks. Bulls plans are to keep Gibson while signing Melo. Will it happen, not looking great.

I don't know why so many people want Gasol. He is on the decline. He is going to be 33 years old. Clippers, Houston, OKC, Cleveland and Bulls are all better options then Lakers, Miami and NY.

LBJ is either going to play with Miami or Cleveland. No other team has a shot at LBJ. I just don't see it. IF LBJ moves to a team like Clippers or Houston he would look some what like a fool.

Knicks wouldn't take Mirotic or Gibson, MDJ, and Butler and a 1st rd pick for Melo. Yes they would in a heart beat.

Melo meeting the Lakers in LA is very telling. Melo is seriously considering LA since he probably made the trip to LA to check out the city while making a decision.

Of course but I don't think Lebron wants to go to the Mavs. I think he will only seriously consider LAC, LAL, MIAMI.

of the 3 you mentioned only Miami makes sense and only if he takes a major pay cut and then only if the other 2 re-sign at lower salaries and they sign others

well he also visited Chicago, Houston and Dallas, so the same can be said about them and his visits

How are you so high on Cleveland? What has Cleveland done recently?

Also, the Clippers are strapped cap-wise so the only way Gasol goes to there is if he goes for the MLE. He's worth more than that.
