I have a source that works in the Knicks organization, and he said that Melo will sign with an NBA team. He said that he will play in the East or the West. He's not sure which one, but it will be either or.

Well, if Lebron says he is leaving, the Heat can either let him walk or get Jordan, Crawford and Barnes. There is no equal value in trading a player like LeBron.

I'd rather get nothing back. Those players aren't going to put the Heat into contention. I'd rather the Clippers scramble to find room for Lebron.

Yep, if he walks? Struggle through a season (if they can't find anybody to come "replace" him this summer) and go shopping next summer when there are some nice free agents available.

Exactly. If Wade and Bosh sign back with the Heat (almost sure that Wade will), with the added pieces - Miami is at best a top 4 team in the East. Not exactly a title contender.

In the NBA, you want to be either really bad or really good. Being in the middle doesn't help. Save the salary similar to 2009.

Jordan has always had the talent, but Doc is a really good motivator and I think he was a huge reason Jordan made great strides.

this whole thing is like a catch-22. LeBron waiting for the heat to add talent to roster. I don't think any players willing to join Miami not knowing if LeBron and wade will re-sign. gasol seems to be the key. where he goes melo also goes most likely. lowry had interest but took safe bet and signed with Toronto. loyalty isn't exactly lebrons strong suit

nope wrong. cant shoot outside or drive to the basket. he is a PF and a PF only.

Disagree. In today's NBA, with "stretch 4's", etc. He doesn't need an outside shot nearly as badly as in the past. Plus, he's young enough to work on it. He's capable of more offensively, he just doesn't get used as much as he could because the Bulls don't have much of an offense.

There's no reason for the Heat to help some other team by doing a sign and trade. There is no equal value for Lebron. Better to make teams scramble to fit him under the cap. The Heat would be better off just signing a couple of guys to 1 year deals and then go after top FA's after next season.

Bulls about to sign Mirotic. Great news for the Bulls. He is suppose to be the best Int player. I think this means Gasol will not be signed by the Bulls. Very happy to see him Finally come over.

Agree unless it's Blake Griffin.
Regardless of Doc Rivers opinion, if James wanted to be a Clipper and the only way to accomplish it was a Griffin sign and trade, they would do it.

Other that him, I'd rather just totally suck, get a draft pick and have plenty of cap space.
