Extra year & something like 5% more a year & the 5th year is like 15% higher than the 4th year. That is if I remember correctly. It's been a while since I looked at that information.

I don't think offering Melo's wife a TV show will have any effect on where he signs. She loves NYC & could just as easily get a TV show there if that was what she wanted. I am sure Oprah could offer her a TV show in Chicago too.

Sure, she could but when a team is offering that as part of a sales pitch? It enhances their chances. And Melo (by all reports) is pussy whipped.

Having said that, I think he probably will stay in NY.

Weeelll, he's a Clippers fan, they don't know no better (Mecca being the exception).

Lebron staying with the Heat with Wade and Bosh debilitating that team with their poor play and high salary demands is the worst thing for Lebron's career, the Clippers are the best choice for Lebron at this point in his career.

Melo would be wise to flock to Chicago. If not stay in NY and do the best you can next season and see what Phil can do in '15 with cap space and a loaded market.

For Jordan, Crawford and Barnes?

:laugh3:

It's better than Lebron just walking away and the Heat getting nothing. The Clippers could trade those guys to a team with cap room to unload those salaries and sign lebron as a FA, either way will work for the Clippers.

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe you'll even eventually believe it and that'll make one of you that does.

Because Gasol can not only score (something the Bulls desperately need), but he is also an excellent passer and rebounder. You can pencil him in for 17 and 8 with 4-5 assists every night and more on many nights.

He's not going to anchor your defense, but you don't need him to do that. The Bulls are already a great defensive team. He's also a good team defender.

He's willing to take a pay cut for a team that can win (so you can get him for less than market value) and he can play the 5 or the 4. That would fit well with the Bulls because Gibson can play the 3 or the 4 and Noah can play the 4 or the 5.

I can probably come up with a few more reasons if you need them.

gibson cant play the 3.

Well, if Lebron says he is leaving, the Heat can either let him walk or get Jordan, Crawford and Barnes. There is no equal value in trading a player like LeBron.

Actually, he can. He's 6'9" 225. That's a bit undersized for a PF. He has the quickness to stay with most SF's in the league. I followed him his whole career at USC and was mildly surprised to see him as a PF in the NBA.

I would let him walk before I would reward another by taking there trash back. Sure you get Jordan, but that is a "meh" return for Lebron.

Kaman to Portland 2 yr/10 mill

I like that deal for Portland. That makes one less team the Suns need to haggle with for Hawes services. The mid-level guys are going to eat up all that FA money if the top guys keep waiting in a holding pattern.
