The sad thing is that description could describe hundreds of people in or around Blacksburg on any given day.

Honestly that is what I wore to class a lot of days there. 90% of the students own that outfit combination.

after talking to a couple of people who are somewhat "in the know" in situations like this, im fairly convinced that 1) this guy is out of the area and 2) the police basically have no idea where he is @.

just an opinion but i wouldnt be surprised to hear of more stolen cars. everytime the guy gets a new car he is buying himself more and more time. <----Take car A) by the time its reported he is in car B) and so-on.

Sadly the good news of all of this is it was an incident that could have easily happened anywhere and it was not someone targeting their peers or students. The bad news is it happened at all.

This being said hopefully there is no reason for him ever to come back on campus

They've actually apprehended several white males fitting the description. None of them were arrested because they weren't the right guy.

This has been crazy. One of my friends has info on the situation and is being brought into the police station to help them. He wasn't able to tell me exactly what info he has when I asked him because he was being brought in at the time. I have a sinking feeling that this guy has gotten away at this point, but hopefully they can I.D. the guy.

A rest area southboud was blocked off and searched because a man was seen to walk into the bathroom in one set of clothes and out in another. This is common though, so.....
