I'm really shocked the article didn't say how idiotic the Mariners were with the signing when Chone's entire offensive game was useless when he was a poor man's Ichiro nor did they mention his horrible defense was also a result of the Mariners going idiotic version 2 by swapping him and Jose Lopez positions.
It still puzzles me, they had a young all star 2B (who had work ethic issues) an all world leadoff hitter, then they spend a boat load on a free agent leadoff hitter, bat him 2nd or 9th (the two worst spots in the order for him) then move him to 2nd and Lopez to 3B. Of all the dumb things the Mariners have done, that 4 year window has to go down as the worst managed in baseball history.

The Yankees have a really likable team with all that impressive young talent they've got. Having Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Santon playing in the same outfield is fucking insane.

Yankees signed LHP Wade LeBlanc to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
LeBlanc will earn $1 million if he makes the major league roster. His contract includes an out-clause at the end of spring training. The southpaw posted a 4.50 ERA and 54/17 K/BB ratio over 68 relief innings with the Pirates in 2017.
