True, but getting nothing back is still a win. Why would Seattle pay Cano to play against them? I’m fine with dealing Cano but it just seems ass backwards, I’d rather pay to play against Seager than Cano unless they finally decide to make Seager the 7 or 8 hole hitter. Dude isn’t totally a bum but he is absolutely terrible for being a number 5 hitter.
I mainly just think they are stuck with Seagar. The return you would get and the money you would have to eat I don’t think is worth it. Better just hoping he rebounds and builds up his value a little and trade him next summer or winter
