Interesting stat study on Lock's 5 games started. Based on the 5 game sample - Lock got sacked at the lowest rate of times in the entire league (the sack schedule shown is cool). They have a state showing Lock got pressured about at the league average for a QB.

Lock is the Oline's best friend and he is very good at extending a play.

Also Lock threw 4 of his 7 TDs on 3rd down. I would think that’s a positive sign

SSS - Chargers, Texans, Lions, Chiefs and Raiders. Not great Ds. Only one of those teams was in the top 1/2 of the league in giving up points. And that’s the game we lost.

I’m a fan and have high hopes, but it’s going to take a full year to be able to get a better feel for how good he will be. I’m going to try my best not to expect too much too soon from the youngster.

Way better feeling going into this year then the past few years.

Lock is far from proven in this league, but he gives us all a lot of hope. Someting we haven't had since our Super Bowl year.

He showed us more in his rookie season then the last QB dudes we had the past 4 years.

There is something to be excited about. He did as well as you could expect for a rookie to come in and look pretty good his first few starts. Yeah, he has a long ways to go, but you can't help but be excited at how well he developed for a rookie.
