Not sure why we are looking so hard at RB. I thought Lindsay is certainly capable of being a 1a, at least. Maybe if they want to upgrade Freeman, but not sure we should be looking to take on the contract of someone like Gordon.

They want somebody that can compliment Lindsay. Freeman is not cutting it and they don't think Freeman is a great fit for the new scheme. Just look at RB production especially in the pass game to see that the Broncos need a pass catching option. I like Lindsay but when he is in he limits what they can do in the passing game. He has terrible hands and really bad route running

If Freeman gets cut he will be a value pickup for someone. If the Broncos can find someone better - that's great, but I don't think Freeman failed based on what the Broncos asked him to do on the field.

Tom G always said never spend big money on rb’s and he was absolutely correct. I will be mad if we spend our money there when we have holes all over our defense and offense. It would be tragic

Rb’s nowadays are a dime a dozen. You can find them all throughout the draft and they have a short career. It would be absolutely stupid to spend big money on a rb especially with the condition of our offensive line

That could be fixed in the draft IMO. RG is our glaring problem.

If we are really going to spend big I have no problem with RB But they damn well better fix the OL as you say.

Two years ago we had a Running Game with Connor McGovern RG and Matt Paradis and Taylor after McGovern had to take over at Center.

People talk as though our OL was total garbage last year I get it we looked bad .

They were the 12th rated OL in the NFL.

overall they did some things right. Leary was not getting the same push in the Running game and it showed up with Freeman.

Freeman IMO is getting dumped on and he showed something special those first games as a rooky. He has good hands in the passing game. so I don't get that statement either.

Broncos sign long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer

Bobenmoyer competed at rookie and veteran minicamp with the Broncos in 2019 on a tryout basis after finishing his career at the University of Northern Colorado. He also played defense for the Bears and contributed on special teams units. He tallied 24 tackles and a blocked punt during his career in Greeley.

The new specialist will likely have the chance to compete for the team's starting long snapping role.

Casey Kreiter, the Broncos' long snapper since 2016, is slated to become a free agent next week. The Broncos have not publicly indicated whether they intend to re-sign him.
