Broncos claimed Cyrus Jones off waivers today. He was the Ravens' punt returners and had a near disasterous fumble against the Patriots two weeks ago.

He was originally drafted by the patriots and couldn't play CB in the NFL and the Pats tried him at both KO and punt returns and he never really panned out.

He's as fast as a missile, but hands are like an eight year old's.

He signed a 3 year $21 million deal but we do have a potential out after 2 years if we want. Looks like whether or not we keep him 100% depends on how he does next year.

Ironically Callahan was brought in to help make Chris Harris expendable, but the unknown of Callahan might encourage the Broncos to bring Chris Harris back.

Certainly- that is the kind of stuff you don't see rumored about when you are contending. I haven't seen it, but something to watch out for.

I'm with Mingo. I'm on the Fangio bandwagon. This was never going to be anything but a transition year (Regardless of what Mingo said. See? I can agree with him and slam him in the same paragraph!) And of course until the QB issue is resolved, there will continue to be losses. But there are encouraging signs imo.

Every year the past 4 years has been a transition year for us. I’m surely not down on Fangio. Just simply saying until I see the results I am not ready to jump on the bandwagon. I’m neither on or off it right now. But as I said I am hopeful.

I like Fangio for two reasons:

• He seems to be the most straightforward and honest coach we've had in some time.
• I'm seeing development of the young players that has been missing in recent years.

Now, if he doesn't start winning soon......I'll start the "Fangio Sucks" thread myself!
