Oh yes. .missed that as I think Powell is a pile
interesting..from what I can see and going off mostly memory...in just 7 rounds, Harold has 2 RB's not selected at all in A suicide or coma, MIlk has 2, and Smitty has one, as well as a TE we all left for dead.
the question is, did we miss something, or are they cuckoo? we shall see
I think he much more in the 2-3 a week range unless he scores, especially now that the lead RB is a pass catcher in Forte, and not a banger like Ivory. I'm really questioning how much of a role he'll have other than just to give Forte a breather. He's not much, but good for about 5 points a week, which in coma is about what you get, unless a starting RB goes down ( say like Bell) and you got his back up.
You make a good point, but the Jets may feel they need to keep Forte fresh by limiting his snaps, Forte just hit 30 after all. Also they signed Powell for 3 years and guaranteed $6 million, so I think they plan to use him accordingly. He may actually do a bit more this year.I think he much more in the 2-3 a week range unless he scores, especially now that the lead RB is a pass catcher in Forte, and not a banger like Ivory. Is everyone forgetting that the Jets also signed Khiry Robinson?
I actually had forgotten that. .but the Saints forgot they had him numerous times too, so I don't feel too bad about itIs everyone forgetting that the Jets also signed Khiry Robinson?
For $80,000 guaranteed. Probably feel he can help ST if he still on the roster when the season opens up.

I think people are discounting Robinson too early. He may not be the change-of-pace type that Powell is, but when you have a versatile 3-down RB like Forte, you don't really need that. So a more downhill runner like Robinson could be useful to that offense. Too early to tell though.
