they gotta do something if Embiid is indeed coming back....a Noel/Okafor/Embiid/Simmons frontcourt seems a little crowded and a little light on shooting the ball....kind of important.

He's not a developmental guy at all. He is just not needed to start with their current roster. He is far from developmental.

Which is why i am surprised they didn't move okafor to boston for the 3rd pick

4-5 years dude cmon.....they wont be able to keep this team together for near that long with guys entering restricted free agency....with where they are at you cant possibly think that long term or Towns will jump ship first chance he gets. You can be a restricted free agent after year 3 and a free agent after year 4....cmon...

You are thinking small. Restricted FA means nothing. Minny can control these guys for 6-7 years each. Then they will have to decide how deep into the tax they wish to go.

By all means though, take Butler if you want to max out where the Clippers are now.
