No not full time because Dray is able to help a lot. But if he plays the 4 it will draw the defending 4 out of the paint on the other end. If you have him & Dray in a pick n roll & the guards moving without the ball that would be hard to defend.
Your reasoning on the position difference is moot because you cannot tell the other team how to guard the Warriors. Simply saying Durant is a 4 and Green is a 3 doesn't change the fact the other team will likely guard Draymond with their 4 and Durant with their 3. Teams cross match all the time. Taking your best interior defender (and overall defender) away from the hoop to guard the opposing 3 and putting Durant in the block wouldn't be in the best interest of the team.
Either way if Durant comes to the Warriors he's a 3 in traditional lineups and a 4, when they go small and Draymond plays the 5.
